Not that it matters much, but the Bears are looking at 2-3 touchdown favorites. I don't need to remind anyone that over the years many of our so-called "C" games have been more than challenging, especially when a good QB comes in and lights it up on our pass D. The Aggies always play very hard here and some of their players shine. It will be a test no matter what we may think. Go Bears! Get to 1-0!

I checked with some betting sites and Cal opened as a 23.5 point favorite and is down to a 19.5 or 20.5 point favorite depending on which site you go to. I'm not a betting man anyway, but I wouldn't touch this, not on the first game both teams play.

need to win by 24+. Its an fcs school, need to dominate and build momentum towards the year. Excited to see if we have a talent increase and deeper roster.

I know my post a little earlier was more negative, but what I would like to see is:

1. All key players stay healthy.
2. Cal scores 17 points on their first 4 possessions.
3. Cal leads by 14 at halftime and 21 by the end of the third.
4. Starters do not play in the fourth.
