Parking update in Berkeley for Gamedays

This is certainly good news. Personally, I prefer covered parking these days for my gameday treks. Smashed windows seem to be the norm in Oakland, and for now i'm tarring Berkeley with the same brush, even though it may in fact be safer than Oakland. Not sure though.

Spent several days in Berkeley, parked around campus earlier this month and saw zero issues. Not even broken glass on the street. I especially think the hills north of campus (the main focus of this change) are pretty safe from bicyclist smash and grabbers (too much uphill pedaling).

Kudos to the much maligned City of Berkeley for doing this.

Looks like they finally realized that Cal football brings business. All these places need to pony up NIL.

Now only if marketing would actually do some work.
