My girlfriend grew up in the Deep South and then in Virginia. Her sister went to Virginia Tech.

When she got here to California she at least sort of started to get in on the hatred for USC and Stanford. She knew most of the Pac-10 teams at least.

When I told her we were going to the ACC she had no idea what that was so I told her we'd be playing Boston College and Syracuse and Wake Forest and UVA (among others).

I thought she might say "Oh, that's cool. It might be interesting to play UVA and VA Tech and North Carolina."

Her reaction instead was:

"Wow. What did Cal do to deserve that?"

I checked on the UW Huskies because our son went to school there. Also have sympathy for WSU and OSU. Looked at the ACC scoreboard to see about future opponents. Miami and Cam Ward look tough

We still meet up with the trojans in water polo, swimming and beach volleyball. Continue to bear down on them!!

I still get a lot of fun from watching UCLA because they are a hilarious football team. Ethan Garbers's stat line against Hawaii resembled a bad Klay Thompson night at one point.

My interest is in watching the B10 transplants (and especially U$C) get their **** shoved in by their new conference mates.

I've been watching much more soccer, Serie A, some EPL and Bundesliga and sometimes when americans play in the Championship. I find MLS boring. Now when I turn on college football and it's just 75% commercials, I am more and more tempted to just turn it off. They lied to the fanbase how the 2 minute warning would cut down on commercials lol. People just eat up their lies. They've made it worse. The NFL is a way better product than college football now because at least they've decided to protect their product a bit from over-commercialization. I predict american football is going to die out in 30 years because they don't care about the game thriving at all.

Part of me hopes schools set up an alternative NCAA with effective oversight. One with no NIL, or players being paid at all except for full 4-5 year scholarships and maybe a small stipend. With Bowl games or playoffs like Div II has. The kids that want to 'get paid', can feel free to join the blue blood factories. Maybe this new division can actually have kids going to school that want an actual education like the Ivies have. It's fairly obvious how the structure is set up now, if you don't have huge donors, you have no chance of competing with the Georgias, Oregon and Ohio States of the world.

This. I watch Premier League. Some La Liga. I just don't have the time to sit for 3-4 hours for a college football game. Futbol is in a tidy 2 hour window early in the morning to have the rest of the day. I still watch football but it's obvious where college football is going. 20-25 teams in a Super League. Not really having that.

I refused to watch any Big Ten or SEC games. Why should we play professionals that
broke up our league.

And I have Comcast but can't watch Cal play football. College sports is history.

So no.

My neighbor, from Utah, big Ute fan. I don't even know who they played or how it went. We'll have to talk, it's definitely different.

Thanks. That is certainly our goal. I am not even sure if we are achieving that. We needed an ACC lifeboat to even get that much.

I genuinely couldn't care less about former PAC teams. it's quite refreshing.

I enjoyed the LSU vs USC game but didn't care who won.

Only care about the All Coast Conference now

It is always tied to how cal is playing. When we're winning I watch other games.

I switched from Fubo to DIRECTV only to go d they no longer have ESPN products as of yesterday. I'm going to look into breach of contract ability to cancel early and either go back to Fubo or try YoutubeTV before this company no weekend.

And yes, I kept track of ACC wins versus the other majors.
