I was pretty bummed about the first half and felt better in the second half. I just hope we were not giving Auburn a good look as to what we are really about. We shall see. I'm in the Seattle area and had to resort to watching the game on my iPhone. I did not know how to stream it on tv. So, how was attendance? The student section? It sounded pretty loud.

Q: How many UC Davis students does it take to screw in a light bulb?

A: None. There is no electricity in Davis.

Attendance was reported as 32,000. That seems about right, as the stadium was about half full.

Update FCS national poll has UCD at #18 and their loss to us seemed to not harm them a bit. Keep an eye on them in the Big Sky.
Bring back bottled beer and cigars at CMS. Should get us back in the Rose Bowl!

Pretty dang full at kickoff, even got to the point where the overflow section seemed pretty full. Unlike past years they stood the whole time as well. Only really started losing numbers in the 4th quarter but that's far better than past years I remember where it would empty out after halftime.

It was a strong start to the season but I'm not sure that our team's performance was the kind of performance that will hook the students to continue coming out. UC Davis isn't a name opponent, but as a local one I'm sure there is a higher than usual amount of friend/local turnout between students of both schools.
