the Boards reaction may be more based on observation. Hugh has some elite speed and talent at WR. Can we match up with Simmons, Lambert, Coleman, & Thompson all game long?

I think a parlay of Cal plus the points (particularly if you can get 12 or more), and the under, is the play! Low scoring and close. I'm not confident enough to pick a winner.


Maybe throw in a small bet on the money line with Cal +400

tl;dr. Auburn is a really average team who will fire their coach after (or during) this year and their QB is awful. Cal will keep their win close though as they attempt too many up the middle runs in the mistaken thinking that they are a 'ground and pound' team.

The real reason is that the coaching staff had them prepared - from the week of practice and all the way through the travel process to the field and throughout the ups and downs of the game. Bravo staff!
