I mean, Auburn is a double digit favorite. I would have been shocked if anyone picked us.

Nobody by Sheamus picked Tech in week 0. That's why the games are played.

They are expecting 88K fans at the game and don't think Cal will handle it well. It's a great chance to win some respect but Cal will have to earn it.

After 8 years, I don't understand why this lesson would be needed.

Counterpoint: maybe they'll be hyped up playing in front of the biggest crowd they'll see all season?

FSU has a big stadium but it's still 10k shy of Auburn's at capacity, and if they lose to Memphis next week some of their fans might decide not to show up

Jared Goff chants broke out at gameday too. It's at Michigan so assuming there are lots of Lions fans there, but still fun to see.

FSU's stadium is undergoing a renovation. Expected to be completed for next season. There will only be 55,000 seats at the Cal game .
