You guys had big expectations when we beat you. Especially in 2016, you had beaten #10 Notre Dame and blown out UTEP coming into Cal's Memorial Stadium ranked #11. Losing to Cal both years put Texas under .500 and is part of why they are remembered as "bad Texas teams."
The bigger point is you have to beat the top programs when they are down. FSU is terrible this year, but we only managed 9 points in 6 red zone trips. We should have beaten Auburn last year too, and Notre Dame the year before. And USC every year they were bad.
