Had so much fun at auburn, now I'm thinking of going to the Pitt game! Does anyone know if Cal has sold out their allotment of tickets? Will we have an auburn type of attendance? Has anyone been to a Pitt game? How is the atmosphere?

Who is going?

Based on the trash talking from ACC schools towards Pitt, obtaining tickets should not be an issue.

My bud and I will be going. But some caveats from what I've read:

Game atmosphere: Pitt plays in Acrisure stadium (the Steelers' home), and Pitt is not a huge draw in general, so I'm told that it is often a half-full big (sterile) stadium.

In terms of tickets, we opted to buy tickets off one of the online sellers. Always a hard decision between sitting with our fans or (in this case) getting infinitely better seats for a fraction cost. My understanding is that the official visitors' section is top deck in an end zone. Instead, I got 25th row seats smack on the 50 yard line aisle behind our bench for under $50 each.

I am thinking of driving over from New Jersey. But based on everything I have ever heard, there isn't going to be anywhere close to the atmosphere of Auburn. Start with the fact that Pitt plays in an NFL stadium...

Man I wish I had a second home on the east coast. Some of these games sound fun to go to.

Decent number of cal fans going (myself included). You shouldn't have any issues getting tickets through the ato though

Dead on right. Pitt is known for a lousy venue (big NFL stadium, small low energy crowd) but being a great city to visit.
