I knew for years Wilcox could keep it close with any team in the country.

That means an extremely small improvement on offense and we would win those games.

Wilcox has shown he shuts down offense if they do too much. So we lose even with a better offense.

Just moved to Charlotte area from California. Get the SC State feed on the local radio and will listen to their games…NC State is not a good team at all. They've been undisciplined, weak defense, poor offense…the fact that this is even a close game is an absolute embarrassment.

It really is unbelievable. I think a non-zero portion of our fanbase would be happy going 1-11 every year as long as we beat the Furd. What they fail to understand is the CFB paradigm has changed in a big way, and we only have a narrow window to turn things around before we're permanently relegated to the minor leagues.

What I don't get is, with Wilcox's ultra conservative defensive gameplans isn't kicker like one of the most important positions?

All his decisions around that position seem all the more stupid considering that.

Everyone else sees it! It's as if our coaches over "think" things by deciding the defense will expect us to continue what is working, so they change it up
