I am in Oregon and I thought the Beavers would be better. While I admit to some glee at payback for numerous bad losses to OSU over the years, it is really sad how far their program has dropped in the past year.


Yeah, last time OSU visited CMS they beat us 38-10.

I'm not saying it was only the injury bug. Obviously, getting left out of the P4 killed the team as all the best and most talented players transferred out. I'm saying OSU's showing is even worse than expected due, in part, to their also being hit by the injury bug. In other words, two things can be true at the same time.

I still would rather have a home and home with Hawaii
I think its a bad idea to add another long travel game given Cal's existing schedule. OSU is the better choice for that reason alone.

We all saw what happened with Miami, FSU, NCSt, and Pitt. Cal can (and, under Wilcox and Bloesch, probably will) collapse in the second half.

Exactly. Our OOC is basically like our non-con used to be. Limiting travel in OOC is one of those factors we can control, so we should.

Precisely. Our OOC and in-conference reversed travel-wise after the conference move. We should try to control our OOC to limit travel as much as possible.
