It was a big recruiting weekend on campus with the Big Game in full effect, the stands packed, a comeback rivalry win, and the rain even parting on Saturday both metaphorically and literally. Out of the big group of highly-coveted players on campus we got our first commitment for 2026 from Jayden Crowder (5-10 and 160lb) a CB from Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. Some of his other offers include: Miami, Penn State, SMU, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Washington.

Welcome to the University of California! Congratulations and let's keep the good news rolling in!

By that logic we'd only have one thread ever, I think there's value in a discussion place for separate topics. And I (like a lot of people) don't ever go in that thread. I appreciate you as a fan and your dedication but between all the links and tweets, and quotes of those links and tweets, it gives my phone a seizure and gives me an aneurysm. Plus there's a lot of OT content about things like golf and soft core porn tweets so I just gave up on it a long time ago and I know many others feel the same.

Also, bringing it back to Crowder's commitment, a lot of things deserve their own thread and I think a life changing commitment by a young man is one of them. He should get to be celebrated and congratulated as more than a handful of comments crammed between 800 pages of golf courses and swimsuit models. It also makes it easier (possible?) to go back and find an old discussion when it has its own thread rather than being buried in the monster

99% of that thread is simply reposts …..over and over by the same guy.
