I expected more out of him - A&M, size, decent tapes. Hope he succeeds.

Maybe he makes the news and opts out of the Bowl game. What are the odds? I say 50-50

Only the beginning. Moss leaving USC, Ucla QB Martin and leading RB TJ Harden exiting the Bruins. Love or hate the transfer portal, for those who have benefited and supported their school, learned the system, and stayed academically enrolled, it's an end game for any sustained loyalty. 4 year Bear graduates??
Bring back bottled beer and cigars at CMS. Should get us back in the Rose Bowl!

Its amazing how this is going. Moss gets benched for Maiava and then leaves. I don't think that's the complete picture as I think USC got that 5 star kid Husan Longstreet. Total domino effect. Wonder if Maiava transfers too.

I understand UCLA are getting the QB coach from Indiana as their OC - Tino Sunseri. Little late tho as their 5 star qb flipped to A&M.

Honestly, the way he bolted off the field after the Big Game with absolutely every other teammate staying on the field celebrating left me wondering.

I believe Ott will not play in the bowl game. If he plays, then he stays. He has not been the same since his injury and Jet has taken advantage and shown he is out next star runner.

If I were counseling Ott, I would recommend (based on what's widely known) to return next year, earn his degree and try to end his college career on a high note.

Note: the details of his overall health issues have been a a little mysterious all year.

If he can do well again next year, he will improve his confidence and vastly improve his draft stock ....

If I were counseling Ott, I'd transfer to a school with a different run scheme. I'd stay if we got a good OC.

I don't think he plays in the bowl game and he probably leaves.

I'll say UCLA got their guy and it paid instant dividends as it looks like 4-Star Robert McDaniel has flipped from Arizona to UCLA. Why can't we make moves like this?

Before it closes?! That would be extremely negligent, so I sure hope not. I think we need one by the time it officially opens (12/9)!

Brennan Marion makes $383,000 at UNLV, delivered a top 10 offense and used to coach in the East Bay.

lol mid 3 star. He's an 89 on 247. And my point was that Sunseri recruited him and convinced him to go with him to UCLA.

Please give to Cal Legends at https://calegends.com/calegendsdonate/donate-football/ and encourage everyone you know who loves Cal sports to do it too.

To be in the Top 1% of all NIL collectives we only need around 10% of alumni to give $300 per year. Please help spread the word. "If we don't broaden this base we're dead." - Sebastabear

I recall Chip Kelly would not allow his portal transfers to play in their bowl game. Feel bad for the players who see these guys leave when the bowl is often considered a reward for the entire TEAM. It doesn't bode well. Recall when AR announced he wasn't coming back the night before the Texas A&M Holiday Bowl in 2004? We stunk and got beat 45-31.

As stated by someone else, it sounds like maybe a big payday demand? Or maybe he doesn't like school? Who knows.
Hunter is a starter with a potential NFL QB throwing to him in his draft eligible year.
Lots of other Portal Receivers looking for spots.
Good luck to him.
But Hunter and Sturdivant didn't do so well in their travels. Cal has multiple experienced receivers returning. Obviously I'd like it if he stays, but he's not irreplaceable in this era.

Who is this potential NFL QB we have coming in? We certainly don't have one on the roster LMAO, lets be serious.
