I live in DFW and this is the talk on sports radio this morning. If Deion leaves Colorado, I assume there will be an exodus of players. Are there any Cal was in the running for that might be possible gets?

I realize Sanders is still the Colorado coach, but figured I'd get the conversation going.

This would be a very risky hire by Dallas. Has Deion demonstrated any outstanding coaching ability beyond getting some exceptionally talented college players to join his team (a power which will not help him in the NFL)?

Deion represents everything I dislike in sport. If he were to be coach of Cowboys (perhaps most disliked team), with Jones (most disliked owner), they would have the Unholy Triumvirate of Loathing.

As someone who lives in the greater Philly area, and agrees with you, I am all in on that happening....

It's not a question of "if" Deion leaves , it's a question of when! If he leaves now, he's gonna be roasted and the buffs are gonna be raided by everyone for their better players. However there's no way Jerry n Deion can co-exist , there's WAY too much attitude between the two of them for either to step back of the spotlight!

I would laugh if the Cowboys made him HC, but I think this is more of a Rooney Rule thing.

When he came to Boulder, I set the over/under at 2 1/2 years (and took the under), so I hope he goes somewhere!

How can he be a serious NFL candidate? He had average results with a HUGE recruiting adavantage, maximum PR, deep pockets, and two of the 5 best players in college. He is totally unproven...or perhaps proven as a brand but not a coach?

I mean, you have to think it's his goal. Its the biggest stage in the NFL. And obviously, he likes attention.

I tend to think it'll be a bust too, but his biggest advantage (besides recruiting) is relating to players, which definitely will help him in the NFL

If he goes he'll want shadeur to join though. The drama we'd see if he kicks out dak could be juicy (though at this point most cowboy fans would probably take shadeur)

My most disliked team is the Las Vegas Traitors
I am enjoying the post season, watching the annual firing of the old coach. And hiring of the new sacrificial lamb.
Here is hoping they have trouble even giving away tix to their games.

Both the Raiders and the Cowboys have been irrelevant for a long time. You can't hate a pro team that is irrelevant. I think the Chiefs are the most hated team right now, Mahomes is a flopper, they get all the calls and Swift is really annoying. It would be great if the Lions can take them down this year.

The calls the chiefs get are blatant

Ten years ago, who would've thought there would be so many Detroit Lions fans on this board? I love the Lions now!

That's unsportsmanlike conduct.

Check out the I95 corridor and tell me how irrelevant the Cowboys hate is.
The Eagles lost a heartbreaking Super Bowl to the Chiefs and KC is still in no way hated like the Boys.

There wasn't a penalty called on that play.

As for other calls in that game, maybe a team should have to play well enough to win in order to gripe about the refs. If a team misses two FGs and a PAT and lets their QB get sacked nine times, they ought to start by looking in the mirror.

It started early… the 3rd down ruffing the passer mystery call started the momentum… non call offside on the FG … a few of those Kc blitzes were contact to the head and neck area of the QB. They were virtually head hunting the Texans QB with no fear if reprisal
