What's happened with this? It's been 2 weeks since this news broke, and nothing more has been said regarding Ron's role and authorities. Is he going to have total charge of the football program? Will he determine how revenue generated by football is allocated? Or has the whole thing fallen apart?

Probably just the usual UC bureaucratic delays.
