attended games at the Coliseum from 67 - 81 sitting in the bleachers on the 45 yard line about 3/4's of the way up... great fans, great teams and so much fun in my youth. Crazy Al and bucket head have trashed all of that. When they returned from LA my brothers and father discussed getting tix again and correctly decided not to waste the money. Time has proven us to be right.... The Raiders died in about 1985 for me....

Back when the Raiders were featured on Hard Knocks, I decided that Carr was a total phony (I know those shows are highly edited, but still... ). And his play on the field was as-per-bearister. Of course, he can laugh at me, all the way to the bank.

Because it p@isses you off.

Carr is the equivalent of an NBA point guard that averaged 25 points per game for 11 years but not once during that career ever made a clutch shot when the game was on the line, and usually in those situations, never even hit the apparatus.

Fan is short for "fanatic" . . .
While I still get emotionally involved, it's not like years ago. Now, when a Cal QB throws a couple of interceptions, it's bad day at work for him. He certainly doesn't care if I have a bad day at work, so it's foolish for me to get upset if he has one.

EDIT - But here's a confession, I still have a sheet of Oakland Raider autographs that I'll never part with. Too bad I lost the envelop - it was postmarked Boca Raton, Florida. Yep, Super Bowl II.
