Boise State blown out by South Florida! Didn't see that coming.

Going to the ND Miami game on Sunday, so should be a good college football weekend.

Minnesota gets past Buffalo, 23-10. The game was pretty competitive most of the way until the Gophers dominated the 4th. Not sure what that means or how good Buffalo is supposed to be.

Minnesota is good. Buffalo is solid but I think first game kinks were more of the culprit for the close game than anything else. By week 4 they should be in a groove. And their defense was dominating most of the night.sycasey said:

For us the game will come down to the trenches. Minnesota wants to run the ball and our DL and run defense is our strength. Whose strength wins out? Their pass game wasn't great but opportunistic. Is our completely new secondary up to the challenge or can they go off-track and pass on us? Offensively can we create running lanes against their stout front or will we have to rely on true freshman JKS to sling it all over the field efficiently?
There's a lot of growth to come for both teams before week 4 but, as of now, these are the key questions. I'm inclined to think that it's a low-scoring game that we are slightly outmatched but good coaching could swing it in our favor. Unfortunately I think they have the better coaching. If Harsin and Rolovich have some magic and can overrule Wilcox to take some chances then it could be in our favor

GT overcame early turnovers to win thanks in large part to their tough QB and his running ability. They might get better as the season goes on.

Wake Forest barely squeaks by Kennesaw State. Unfortunately, we do not play Wake this year.

Last year Wake was our first conference win outside the state of California since the Beavers in 2018 and Huskies in 2019.

You really think the coaches aren't tapping $?

Jack endries looks like he out in another 50 pounds of muscle, already with a nice catch and a key block on Texas's opening drive.
he threw a a 40 yard pass that should have been caught for a td. Made a couple mistakes, missed a couple looks, basically looks exactly the same, with a little more time to release.TouchedTheAxeIn82 said:
Just tuned into the Indiana game. First play I see, Fernando scores on a keeper.
Indiana 17 - Old Dominion 7

Endries is struggling with "my massively overrated QB who is supposed to be the first QB taken in the draft though he says he isn't coming out and we've barely seen him play but his grandfather and uncles were really good so he must be good too is completely sucking-itis"

for those keeping track
Fernando cruising in a win with a rushing TD
Jonathan Brady 3 returns 100+ yards and a TD on punt returns
Jack Endries leading WR at Texas
Hunter leading WR at Nebraska with a TD
yet last year we couldn't even score 10 points at doak campbell. One of the worst offense in the country
Thank god for Ron, i feel like there is finally accountability. Wilcox wasted year after year hiring coaches that are from the G5 or has beens. Let's see how our new coaches do today. Rolo and Harsin has the most well known resume for a wilcox led team ever. This is Wilcox's final chance

It's almost like having an o-line matters. Especially one that isn't undersized. In Anae I trust!
