The internet can't get enough of Cal's true freshman quarterback

It's taken just one game for Cal's true freshman quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele to light the college football world on fire.

Sagapolutele's electric performance against Oregon State ninestraight completions to start the game, three touchdown tosses and 234 passing yards in a 34-15 victory not only has a Cal fanbase that's starving for a winner absolutely buzzing, but has college football talking heads tweeting non-stop about the five-star recruit from Hawaii.

On Sunday evening, Cal's social media team posted a graphic compiling all the notable reaction on Sagapolutele, who goes by the nickname 'JKS,' featuring a who's who of voices across the college football and NFL landscape.

I love that his parents could come to the game. Realistically, they could travel to any US city, but west coast trips are so much easier, especially for a quick visit.

Hopefully, that helps lower the risk of a big east coast or Midwest school from poaching JKS. I'm sure Oregon, USC and other deep pocketed schools will come calling. We need to try to lock this young man up at least one more season.

Sagapolutele's mother and father, Setema and Tiki, made the trip from Ewa Beach on the island of O'ahu, which made the night complete for their son.

"They were so happy for me," he said. "I was happy for them . . . getting to see a smile on my mom and my dad's face. That I got to play in my first college game and it went not too bad."

You can never start the Heisman hype too early. At least get a digital message out there. This is a situation where all publicity is good.
