Not to get premature or to offend the Woofing Gods, but the team looked to have the ability to score, a defense tough against run that causes TOs, and special teams that won't lose games and has the capability to win them.
The biggest questions marks were OL (looked like best we have had in years) and defensive backfield (will give up some big plays but also will make them) and neither look like a liability and border on decent to good.
Going forward it seems that we now need more consistent play out of WRs and a little more pass rush.
Might this be Wilcox's best team? That would be shocking given the off season upheaval and truly welcome surprise.
The way the schedule lines up, I could easily see us being 6-1 after seven games, and if breaks go our way and no injuries, end up 9-3 at a decent bowl.
