create an account/Login to the ESPN app on your tv or browser, it will ask for your cable provider login credentials. Put in your YouTubeTV info and you will be able to find ACC Network Extra in the interface.

YouTube TV doesn't carry ACCNx feeds on its own, you need to log in to ESPN with your YouTube credentials to watch it.

Anyone know if Bay Area Xfinity/Comcast or the ACC network will rebroadcast the game at a later time and date?

Thanks!

I was able to say to my smart tv, "ESPN APP" and this ESPN stuff appeared and I scrolled down to all the football games this Saturday. CAL vs TSU is there but I have to scan a code. Does that mean I have to
pay for it? I'm tech incompetent!!

If you have YouTube TV, no. When you scan the code it will ask you to enter your YouTube TV password and then everything will be good to go

The linear ACC Network will usually rebroadcast ACCNx games at a later time, yes. Set your DVR to record Cal football and it will pick it up.

Anyone know if ESPN supports the Sling Day Pass login for ACCx as it does with YouTubeTV?

The Sling day pass is for their orange tier and the ACCN is on the sports extra tier, so no.

ESPN Select ($14.99/mo), fka ESPN+, would have Saturday's game, but likely no more this season.

ESPN Unlimited ($29.99/mo) would have all ESPN network games on any of their platforms (so every game but the CW ones).

ESPN unlimited is a decent deal for Cal football since one only needs 3 months of service, and it can be can be cancelled with a simple click or two.

Another option is to go in with a few buddies and get a drone. Prices are coming down and telephoto lens quality going up…..and at halftime you can get intel on what Panoramic Hill HOA board members are up to.

I get ESPN+ for free with my AMEX Platinum but either way the game will cost just $15 which is not a bad deal

you can add the sports extra to the orange day pass for an extra dollar. Totally worth it. And it does give you acc. I think it gives your accnx too, but not sure.

That's great info. So basically $6, if their servers update fast enough to allow for logging into ESPN. Any sub of ACCN is supposed to get ACCN+ access.

But the real nice thing about your $6 trick is access to ACCN for those who are out of market and don't want to pay to get a more expensive cable package (which is always a PITA with Comcast as it takes a call or two).

That said someone without paying $5-6 for a day pass for all Cal games left could just pay a tiny bit more and get ESPN unlimited and get a lot more content.

For the record, when I log into my YouTube TV account and search for the Cal Golden Bears Football, the Texas Southern game is listed as being on the ACC Network and is listed as upcoming on Sept. 10, at 11:00 pm. So it appears to be available on tape delay.

Yes. All the football games that are on ACCNx will be replayed on ACCN at some point.

Not always complete games, though. Right? I thought that last year at least a couple of replays were compressed versions to fit a 90 minute timeslot. Not a big deal, in most cases.

I signed up for the ESPN+, Disney, Hulu bundle deal for $30/month to catch the Cal Oregon St. game. Works great on my PC via Firefox. Seems ok on my Iphone. But my TV app is pretty slow. Kinda hard to navigate.

Signed up for Cal Football, but am enjoying the perks. Catching the two seasons of Mr. InBetween I couldn't watch when my previous carrier lost FX or whatever it was.

Thanks to the other OP for the good post! After canceling YouTubeTV at $85/month, I figured I'd just miss most of Cal's games. Glad this option came along.

Go Bears!

Sling is good for today's game!
$4.99 Day Pass + $1.00 Sports Extra add-on includes ACCx. I see Sports on Sling - NCAAF TXSO vs. Cal - today at 3:00 PM on the Sling App.

That is to say, today's game is on the Sling app without having to re-login through ESPN+

Roll on you Bears!
Wish I could attend the home opener live, but will make the trek up next week for Minnesota.

You just saved me money. Thank brother. I got AMEX Plat as well. I actually also found so many other benefits I had no idea about, lol.

Just reporting that I did not have access to ACCnx on the espn app through YouTubetv, even with some enhanced sports package (including red zone). Seems like it's an espn+ thing…but not always…but it was today…lol.

Did anyone else have luck on the espn app with YouTube tv? Non-zero chance I did something wrong.

I watched first qtr from my phone via espn+ by signing into YouTube TV. I was able to stream to my TV, but I had something come up and shut it down.

I am now watching on my laptop via my web browser no problem. Also thru YouTube TV
