I used the weekend $5.99 pass to watch the Bears thump the Beavers. This Saturday the game appears just on the ACC network. Does anyone know how to watch the game without subscribing for a full month? Thanks! Wish I could make the trip north for the game. Go Bears!

I've never done it but you could try having a friend with Sling and then use Teleparty app on you browser. This option replaced Slings native Watch Party function that was discontinued.

Someone reported in another thread that one can buy the sports extra package for $1 along with the game pass. That would include the ACCN.

Here's where it's a big tricky IMO- to get ACCNX you have to use your Sling account to sign in to ESPN, which uses
your sling/comcast/directv account info to look up what channels you subscribe to and then lets you stream them. So if you have an active ACCN sub, you would get the ACCN+ stream.

That's in theory. I have not heard of anyone actually getting an ACCNX stream using this method (this would be the second weekend it's even possible).

So if you try it, please report back! (I can think of a few reasons it wouldn't work, such as the database only updating every 24 hours and the system not recognizing a day pass).

This is almost certainly the only football game that will be in ACCNX as streaming only this year, but getting the regular ACCN for a day via Sling is also valuable for out of market fans that don't subscribe to ACCN.

Yes. Do you have some kind of TV service where you can watch the ACC Network? (If you are following Cal sports I assume you would have this.) If so, you can use it to log in to ESPN's website or app and watch the game.

Curious what the point of this post is? All Cal games are on a Disney associated platform as the ACC only has a contract with ESPN.

Yes, I have access to ACC Network. I'm still unclear as to whether the game is on ACCN+ or if I have to access the ESPN app to get it. I've had a MISERABLE time with the ESPN app. trying to log in and using Sling as my subscriber service.

I'm pretty confident the game will be on ACCN+, but can't find a listing for it anywhere which concerns me.

If you have a Sling subscription that has ACCN then you should be able to log into ESPN with Sling credentials and watch all ACC content. If not, might need to contact their tech support.

Since I do have access to ACC Network through Sling, and seem to have access to ACCN+, I think I'll be OK. Your point about "tech support" however may not work. I've tried tech support both from ESPN and Sling, and neither have been satisfactory. Maybe it's improved since last season. I'm keeping finger crossed.
