Ron do the right thing and let us follow FUCLA and hire a new coach before we lose this season.

The bear runts have serious problems and had to turnover a bunch of coaches but a 33 year-old signal caller was all they needed to come alive

I have my ppl but would need my commercial license and an advertising endorsement from the faa to do it.
That said I would happily risk life and limb and going to non rich guy actual butt pounder prison if it meant Wilmoe got canned.
The problem is it wouldn't do anything.
Old blues and Ron would just look up and be like oh that's cute…we don't care…we'll never be good get me another Manhattan with a side of apathy.

Essentially I would be like one of those kamakazee pilots who missed their mark and just crashed into the ocean next to a ship.

FOL I used to think this was purgatory. Nope not purgatory. Tedford was purgatory. Wilmoe is hot lake of fire with big red dude dressed as a christmas tree.

If it weren't for all the people who continue to set the bar ever lower on what would constitute "success" for Wilcox, we wouldn't need to have all these 'Fire Wilcox' posts and threads. But since there are some people who are such Pollyannas that they will never give up on him no matter how pedestrian the results. it falls to the rest of us with functioning eyes to see that Cal is never ever ever ever ever going to be a good program until he's replaced with a good coach.

At least at that time we knew it was over and could look forward to the future, right now we have the impending launch of the super league and are playing ourselves out of the major college football scene, there is no optimism

The buyout for Wilcox is $16 million, Foster's was $5 million. It is extremely unlikely that Wilcox will be fired anytime soon.

How much revenue do you receive from an empty stadium........

If this is accurate (that Wilcox wont be fired), the program is done, and Ron needs to leave before he gets too attached to the permanent failure that is Cal Football.

I dont think Ron would be here if that were the case. There may be things Ron needs to fix in the program before trying to hire, or maybe he wants fix the systemic problems and give Wilcox a real fair shot (Tedford, Snyder and Dykes all showed it is Cal that sucks, not the coaches), or he wants the timing to align with external factors.... But if we are devaluing the entire program and its future over the $16m buyout, Cal football is done.

Again, we dont have to fire him demote him to defensive coordinator and make Rolovich the head coach . it cost nothing and we keep JKS because he loves Rolovich.
