Curious if anyone has access to away game sales figures. Been hitting the road for the last 30 years and the last two games I have attended have absolutely sucked in terms of Cal fans in attendance. I know we have to fly a good distance, but I can't imagine Cal grads all stay in CA. I don't see any alumni parties at the games, but maybe I'm not on the lucky invite list.

I was at the auburn game last year and the bc game this year (and notre dame 3 years ago). In each game cal was very well represented to the point that locals were impressed

BC was a great turnout. Good game too.

I think not as many people are going to all the games this year - too many long distance flights. I went to BC and I am going to Louisville. BC was crazy with Cal fans. Louisville I bet is not. Hard to get to. Same frankly with Virginia Tech, which my son went to this last weekend.

Cal had a large alumni base, but for east coast games, the Ease coast fans have to come. There were a lot of them at BC. Probably a lot would go to Miami, UNC, Pitt, Atlanta, etc. Not so many to way out of the way Virginia.

Which two away games did you attend?

FSU and VA Tech.

Interesting…. I imagine those are two of the harder ACC locations to get to.

If not the hardest. And VT was a Friday night game leaving less time for travel if you work.
