Our returner gets popped before the ball arrives. Penalty on us, naturally.
That is the most insane call I have ever seen in my life. Wilcox and Ron need to light the ACC up publicly for that and the no-call on the personal foul last week.

Also, PLEASE stop using the PA for cheers. I don't need one azzhole yelling half the cheer at 100db and the other half of the cheer washed out with confusion.

Plus the coaches are responsible for identifying and bringing in (or retaining or not driving off) the talent.
We're not that talented (besides JKS and Uluave), but also it's beyond a shadow of a doubt that the coach and his staff cannot elevate the talent on hand. If Cal football doesn't have a coach like that then we're not going anywhere. It's not like we can rely on the program infrastructure to carry us.
Even beyond losing the first half, that was just dull football.

Let's get real, we do not have major talent deficiencies compared to San Diego State or Dook and those teams floored us, VA Tech was a bad team running a single scheme all game and we did not stop it at all, and this Virginia team is decent but not stacked with studs, a decent staff and we compete with all these guys but we have nothing of that sort at the moment

Last year we got rolled at home by Syracuse and the only thing I remember from that game was the Selena tribute halftime show
Whoops I didn't look up once during the halftime show. Didn't see a second of it.
