The Bears added to their talented inflow of transfer portal receiving talent, picking up Oregon frosh wide receiver Cooper Perry today.
The 6-1/180 receiver was only one of 10 true frosh players in Oregon’s talented 2025 recruiting class, catching 10 passes for the Ducks this season. He can play either in the slot or outside as a receiver.
As a 4 star player rated #147 overall and the #10 composite WR at Notre Dame Prep in Arizona, Perry had 72 catches for 1,190 yards and 18 TDs along with 20 rushes for 192 yards and 2 TDs.
2022: He also had 78 receptions for 1,100 yards and 20 touchdowns in 13 games as a sophomore. He chose the Ducks over Notre Dame, Miami, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and more.
Perry joins fellow portal WRs Ian Strong (Rutgers) and Chase Hendricks (Ohio) along with offensive tackles Jimothy Lewis, Jacob Arop (South Dakota) and Mykeal Rabess (FIU), IOL Kahlee Tafai running backs Adam Mohammed (UW), Carter Vargas (UC Davis) and Ashton Emory, tight end Dorian Thomas, edge Solomon Williams, DL Justin Beadles (Louisville) and Ashun Shepphard (Miss St), LB Tristan Jernigan, safeties Kingston Lopa and Michael Hurst Jr and CB Marquis Groves-Killebrew in their 2026 transfer portal recruiting class.
