foxy (luv that name!!), the shockster stopped reading growls a while ago but just looked at the topics per ur post & back in the day exchanged private messages with these 5 angry senior citizens (old crabs) ur referencing...since there's no way they read the monster here's some confidential background info but plz don't tell nobody, got it??

bright bear-did not go to cal but tole me his son wuz a student back in the day who got dismissed for academic fraud & his ex-wife who hates his guts is a berkeley alum

trumpanzee-he's an alcoholic who watches the games on tv from his urine stained sofa (the throne for growls gameday thread posters) in his rental unit in boise idaho, tole me he played for the bears but when further questioned ended up ghosting the monster

m2bear-just switched retirement communities & is still cranky about the quality of the food in the cafeteria, tole me he hasn't been to a game in memorial stadium in 2 decades but still likes to pontificate about the inner workings of the cal football program

tony the tiger-senile as **** sr citizen that doesn't know what day it is most of the time, likes to get the 30% on sale depends at target for his uncontrollable ******* on himself issues

tandem bear-should probably just focus his energies on starting a support group for fellow golden years incels or something (not that there is anything wrong with that)

I'm sick and can't make it to the game today.

But I pulled up Spotify and listened to a Train album for the first time. I listened to the "Save Me, San Francisco" album. I only recognize the title song because they started playing it at the stadium. But I do know the song "Hey, Soul Sister." However I only knew that song because of a cover version I heard on YouTube way back when. I've never heard Train on the radio because I don't listen to stations that would play Train. But the album has catchy songs and a very interesting use of other song lyrics. They incorporate whole lines and melody from The Doobie Brothers' "Black Water" in one of their songs.

Not being up 17-0 right now…kinda sucks.

I'm curious tho if, and it's a big if because will see if we even can, run up the score, will we? This is type of game Wilcox would probably mess up.

And update as I'm watching. Mohammed basically out muscled them. Wagner is too small.

Continuing, I also hope this isn't a game where we get starters injured. I'm just hoping very day that this is our year. But looking at schedule and now other teams look, 6 wins would be best case. 5 possible, but 4 likely. And if the team shows up and proves me wrong, I'd happily take that. I'm just tired. Heard something on pod cast

"9 out of 10 cardiologist don't recommend being a Cal fan". Thought that was funny.

If I lived in the bay I'd go to any game "price dependent". Football is foot ball. Especially if it's our boys playing. I don't get why people wouldn't want to come out, even if game isn't suppose to be close.

Mid 2nd. Not all, but ones that we don't want injuries. Mohammed, JKS, some defense for sure. I'd play both lines until 3rd quarter. They need the work. But don't get 2nd string injuries either. 4th quarter play the unplayables
