Serious questions below (I really don't have the answers and would appreciate it if those who did provided them).
Was RR forced to hire Tosh by the whales or did RR actively promote Tosh's hire with the whales to get the latter to sign the checks?
From some of the earlier comments on this board, it was the whale donors who made Tosh a done deal. Everyone else had to fall in line after that. If that is the case, is the Tosh hire really on RR? Should he have resigned as GM when the whales said "it's Tosh or we're not going to donate?"
