Cool how they give the ball to Ross for the TD, considering he almost ran back a punt.

Okay, now it's Sweeny time.

What parallel dimension are you watching the game in?
Riley had no time to do much of anything other than eat the ball, and avoid getting stripped.

WTF mansion! He looked slow and confused on the run and then just gave the ball to the defender!
Isi looks weak
DBJ looks slow
Mansion is lost
I know were up 50-17 but I don't feel very good about it
You can't be serious. You expect him to basically give away the ball?KoreAmBear;403058 said:
Well if you give him a chance to make a play only when it's 3rd and 21, that's what you're gonna get.

it's ok. those guys are 2nd/3rd stringers. just sayin'

Come on, let Mansion have a chance at a reasonable passing play instead of waiting for third and long.
It WAS meaningful. Quarterbacks sometimes have to face 3rd and long. (We often do, when we are in our "get blown out" mode). I didn't mind him pulling down the ball and running, although it was a little Sweeny-esque for me. But the giving away of the ball was pathetic.KoreAmBear;403071 said:
No, try to stick with me. You ask a guy how has no experience to only try and make a desperation play on 3rd and 21 (as opposed to get some rhythm maybe throwing a short pass on 2nd down or something), a guy is going to try and make a play, stupid or not. If you're gonna throw Mansion or Sweeney in there, make it meaningful for them. I see that we got no use out of putting in Mansion today. Another opportunity wasted.

LOL, he was running the full offense. Hand off on 1st down, check. Hand off on 2nd down, check. Pass on 3rd and long, check.mvargus;403077 said:
Another sign that Tedford is a very bad coach. A good coach would understand that the backups need to run the full offense and not just hand off.
atticus;403081 said:
This is silly. No good coach is going to start chucking the ball up 50-10 with a backup QB in the fourth.
Think about what you guys are saying.
mvargus;403074 said:
I don't know why Tedford bothered putting in the backup QB. Sure he can claim playing time, but for a QB to really learn the offense he has to run the passing plays, and Tedford in his infinite idiocy refuses to allow his backups to run the passing game if he puts them in during garbage time. First he waits far to long before putting them in, and then he hamstrings their development once they are in.
Horrible coaching from a man who I'm increasingly convinced should not be the head coach.
