I received confirmation that the ferries will be going to our games at AT&T. Now to check on the wine bus to Candlestick.

Go Bears!

We will be operating ferries to all five Cal games at AT&T Park. No decision has been made about the one game at Candlestick Park. A few years ago, Golden Gate Transit stopped operating buses to 49er games and California Wine Tours started operating that service. I would check http://www.californiawinetours.com/ to see if they are operating that service.

I wonder if Baylink out of Vallejo will be running ferry service as well. That would be awesome!

I love taking BayLink to the Giant's games--I would hope they would run a "Cal Special" as well!!

Nothing like the "merry" ferry to the park. But not inexpensive. Depending on game times, and the ferry ground rules, some Giants fans take the regularly scheduled ferry if schedule permits (less expensive), walk the beautiful 35 minutes to AT&T and return on the special ferry (30 minutes after the game). Tickets for the baseball ferry should be purchased ahead (frequently sold-out).

I mention expensive, but consider parking costs in SF.

Another traveling caper from Marin is to drive, taking the exit just after the toll gates through the Presideo, left on 25th Ave. through the park to the Sunset. Park on Kirkham, walk down one block and take the N Judah directly to the park. Not only inexpensive, but you get a real slice of SF culture. We do this for weekday games when parking cost is ridiculous. We often stop for breakfast at one of the neighborhood haunts, and hop back on the "N" and continue to AT&T.

Also, think Clipper Card for all of your transportation--ferries, BART, MUNI. If you have not been using local transportation go to clippercard.com. Then you don't have to worry about "correct change". You just "tap". There are special cards for seniors!

I will be driving from Santa Rosa, with the beer and the Bar-B-Q.
It's for my buddies that can take "convenient" transportation from the East Bay, and within The City.

It's hard to carry those needed supplies on Bart or Muni.

Anybody want to car pool?

Or better yet start our own "Cal at ATT, NB Transit" service!

In past years we have driven to Marin (Novato) on Fridays and stayed with my sister and B-I-L. Then we drive to Berkeley. I was familiar with the Ferry Service from Marin to the Ferry Building?, then the walk to ATT. Is the OP saying there will be Ferry service directly to ATT Park? Even if expensive, that would be great. My sister is a Furd but a great and knowledable CF fan. I'd love to take her to a couple of games but walking is an issue with her as she is even older than me (74), with bad knees. So we either go real early and park across the street from ATT or if there is a direct ferrry route, that would be very cool.

I received an email response from Baylink. There will be ferry service from Vallejo for Cal football games. Details will be sent out later in the year. This is awesome news!!!

With any luck, we'll be able to ride a ferry to Cal games even when the team returns to Berkeley....

Unless someone puts together a busload, they have no plans to have service to the Cal v. Fresno State game.

Are they doing "regular" games to ATT, from Sonoma County?

Like i stated in another thread why not catch bart, and transfer to light rail which will take you right to At&T? That area is so congested.

Awesome. Now I wish there were better public transportation options from the marina to the campus. But this is great.

We were able to purchase Ferry tickets today (9/12) to 4 of the 5 AT&T games from the folks at Vallejo Ferry. You will need to either visit the office or send a fax with credit card info.

Office # is (707)648-4349

...no single direction purchase. Ferry leaves Vallejo at 12:45 for Presby game, and returns 30 minutes after the game ends.

Not exactly cheap....

We drove down to the Fresneck-State game. Traffic was bad and the drive took two hours one-way.

I'd rather pay the $30 and relax with the good view and fellow Cal fans than stew in traffic.

See you on board.
