You are nuts if you don't think Pakistan, at the very least, gave the US some degree of authority to pursue OBL in their country.

And if you are talking about people turning to terrorism to retaliate against the US, that may be a consequence of this, but that doesn't stop you from killing the man who orchestrated the killing of more than 3,000 people.

I assume that the post was a joke. We have already violated Pakistani airspace and borders a number of times in conducting our war vs. the Taliban.
What is one more violation.

The Pakistan government has a lot to fear from the Taliban especially in this area. There are probably a lot of (silent) celebrations being held right now in Pakistan.

Sorry Jank, but if we knew Bin Laden was holed up in Kim Jong Il's underwear drawer, we should have taken him out. Violation of foreign turf -are you kidding? What Bush did in starting a war in Iraq is a violation of foreign turf, not going into a country that is supposed to support the U.S. (maybe we'll find out how the Pakistanis possibly knew where he was for a long time) and taking out arguably our worst enemy since Hitler. You ARE the only one worried about how this went down.

We've heard so long from some folks that Obama had no balls to do anything decisively and now, when he does act, they whine again. Let him have his moment. There is plenty of time to second guess him later and it will be coming, I guarantee you.

Geez. Even GWB had some moments of adulation with "Mission Accomplished" and the later capture of Saddam Hussein, and I was one of those who was ecstatic then, even tho' I was not always in agreement with all of his policies.

This was a great accomplishment, indeed, but I have a problem with politicians like Boxer trash talking on TV (like a fat guy in a pro jersey woofing at a ball game) about how this shows that if you mess with the US we will hunt you down and bring you to justice.
