Any of you bears getting a little tired of "he's a beast"? If my English 1A TA saw how often we used the phrase, he would break his wrist writing "trite" (I received quite a few of those). My dictionary says: beast: noun, large or dangerous four-footed animal but the second definition is: a domestic animal, esp. a bovine farm animal.
I think we should wear out "he's a BRUTE": noun, a savagely violent person or animal. Sort of describes Follett, Butkis, or Tatum, who definitely were not bovine.
Anyway, we are in the doldrums and I am desperate for the season to begin.
I feel better now, thanks for listening.
