UCLA's football practice became a celebrity affair Wednesday morning when singer/fashion designer Sean "P. Diddy" Combs showed up with his son, UCLA recruit Justin Combs, along with a star-studded entourage.

Justin Combs is a cornerback at Iona Prep in New Rochelle, N.Y. He has offers from Illinois, Virginia and Wyoming . . . .

UCLA fans love to start early with the academic excuse propaganda. What makes it extra awesome is that they're doing it with a 2 star recruit - how desperate they've become.

To be fair, I doubt UCLA's looking for him to become the next Cliff Harris. I think they're investing in his dad becoming the next Phil Knight...

Here's what I am afraid of.

They sign Diddy's son. Diddy gives his son a ton of money, a few cars, a really nice apartment, and he makes sure a ton of hot chicks are at his pad at all times.

What's to stop his son from sharing the wealth with teamates? Matt Leinhart's dad rented a really nice place for Matt. It so happened that Dwayne Jarret got to live there.

Same type of thing when Master P's son was on the USC bball team.

what year is justin combs? I wouldn't mind seeing P Diddy at Memorial Stadium.

I believe Dwayne Jarret also had to reimburse the Leinherts for his unusually low rent.

Lil Romeo got a scholarship to convince Demar Derozen to come. If they want to waste a scholly on a player that can't compete I say be my guest.
