Black Hybrid Lexus and Silver SUV Lexus (my wife loves Lexus which is just an upscale Toyota isn't it??)

I won't even rent a car if it is red in color (the color red is mostly not allowed and avoided with anything with me) ....

As a american with chinese ethnicity, the color red has cultural significance, but my bride/wife didn't even wear a red chinese wedding banquet dress/outfit when we got married (she still looked hot in a hot pink one) and my son doesn't wear red either

Obsess much???

GO BEARS!!!!!!!!!

You got the HS 250h? Those are sweet, w/o being ostentatious. I was looking at them, but then got a... you guessed it... Prius. NOT in red, though, hell no.

Lots of Cal grads were never into the sports/rah-rah thing. Okay, fine. But some folks, like my neighbor, legitimate* Cal fans, get red cars and I can't figure it.

* legitimacy obviously called into question due to stupid red car

I don't always drive, but when I do, I don't drive a RED PRIUS.

Anyone own a Tesla?? I hear the new model can get up to 300 miles on a charge--a lot cheaper than the roadster too!

Prius is a car for whussies. The Prius should come with a 3 year supply of testosterone injections. And yes, the Obama bumper stickers are standard equipment. I drive a convertible with a V8 engine. Screw the ozone layer.

I've driven the roadster for a bit. The instant thrust is a riot but the 900 lbs of batteries really messes with the handling characteristics. Decided to go for the Lotus instead (not that I could afford the Tesla anyway).

and no it is definitely not red.

Prius drivers suck. Present company excluded of course. Unless your Prius is red, then you suck.

I drive a 10-year old WRX and get 21 mpg and delicious four-wheel drifts on wet roads. The greenest car is the one you don't buy (uh, something like that).

I don't know, there are plenty of ways to ridicule both.

Nice, WRX for me too, a blue one, and roughly the same age. Love the all-wheel drive, safety, and power for a not very expensive car. It's just not luxurious, which is fine by me.

However I have nothing against anyone who owns a Prius. So long as it's not red.

Somewhat pricey 2 seats 3-wheeler all electric city coup, from a newbie startup company in Eugene O.

Like a Prius except much smaller; freeway capable.

Corporate leader is a Cal guy..

Earlier this year bought a 2008 with 22,000 miles on it for $13,900. I love it so far although my criteria for a good car is how to get from point A to point B as cheap as possible taking into consideration acquisition cost, maintenance costs, fuel costs and then resale value when the car gets 250,000 miles on it. The guy who bought a Red Prius had to have obtained a great purchase price to be riding around in Stanfurd red. GO BEARS!!

No it isn't. If it were, you would have spent $3k on an old Honda civic or the like. Your criteria obviously includes something else.
