Got a few compliments and a good amount of looks. Women seem to like the design.
You got a winner on your hands. Thanks again for putting it together, FF!

Glad to hear it. I had a woman and a cop ask where I got it. Wanted to trade the cop for a get-out-of-a-traffic-ticket-for-free card.
Btw, if anyone asks, I created a new web address people can go to that's easier to remember.

I saw a couple variations of "Fear the Bear" shirts that seemed pretty neat. I plan on doing my own version of this.

Man, I wish I had seen your site before the game. I had about 10 people ask me where to get one. I'll pass along gobearsshirts.com at the next game.

Beasyed, is this your doing? You were talking to me about producing tanks for some frat.

Wow... not sure what to say. I guess it was a matter of time.
I suppose their thinking is that they modified the text. *shrug* Looks horrid.
I've been working on ways to improve the overall quality of the prints. Stay tuned. It's an arms race!

...? i never indicated i was producing tanks for a frat. i asked you about the possibility of using the design to print onto tanks and sell it to students directly, since as i'm still an undergrad here, distribution would be a lot easier. you thought it was a good idea for me to start generating interest for the tanks, up until the point where i got multiple orders for the tank, and you stopped responding when i asked you to send me the design image file to give to the screen printing company. don't know why it'd be a big deal to you since you said you weren't trying to make money off these, and since you're still not offering tank tops in your store.
what i did say about "some frat" was that a few frats, including a house i know well, were already making a design based off the same concept. and this was the image i sent you:/

"Also, if you know a big group of people who want to order then you could tally the orders for me, do the money collection and I can take care of the printing and ship them all to you."

If you want some folks to go over to the tri delt house to....uh....confiscate the infringing tanks, I'm sure we could get a group together.

Here's yellow on blue. If you like it, please say so.
Minor caveat: For the background I use "Yale" Blue which is the official Cal blue. For the actual t-shirt, I'd use their Navy colored shirt. I guess the other caveat is that the other version uses California Gold and I'd use whatever Gold they have.

2) I wasn't in a rush to produce tanks because they are impractical and I wanted to be sure my first order all went through. You're still a student but I have lived in SF and work by ATT Park. They may have been useful for the first game but will unlikely be able to be worn at any other game this season as the city is much cooler than Berkeley and is very chilly at night.

i realize you never said you'd send me the design. but since you liked the idea of students wearing these tanks, and i have access to a bunch of people who'd want it, i thought'd be a lot simpler to take charge of tanks. i gave you the name of a Berkeley-based screen printer who could make tanks for ~$10 per tank, and asked whether you'd rather place the order with the company directly or you could send the design to me and i could go in person. either way, i got around 40 students who wanted the tanks, but i guess you weren't too keen making then.
not a problem though, seems like there are plenty of choices for "The City is Bear Territory" tanks now though.
a big chunk of people who wear these tanks are students who party at the frats on gamedays, and guys who wear tanks to hit the gym or wherever else, not a one-use item. i mean, if you have shirts in your store for toddlers, why not have tanks?

Seeing as how a good chunk of your design is stolen from an old Warriors jersey, I wouldn't get into a "who is the bigger thief" debate. However, yours looks far superior.
