Didn't see anything about this, but I missed each team's first score of the FSU game and just saw the replay. Surprised no one was talking about it given the previous tendency to settle for FG's attempts, but we chose to go for it on 4th down deep inside the redzone instead of kicking the FG. I like. It totally is a new year and hopefully new era of the coaches making some more gutsy calls.

I noticed it too. The Tedford of the last 2-3 years would've taken a FG in a heartbeat.
The overall playcalling seemed more creative as well. Hopefully it is a glimpse of a new trend.
