Nice try at being subtle, but two uses of the s-word, once in the title and once in the body of the message kinda screws that up. They are searching for that word to try to shut these things down.

Oh, well, I give up. People just don't get it and I'm starting to feel uncomfortable being a nag about it.

I just want to preserve this valuable service for our Cal fans w/o other access, but it isn't working. I don't even use the service now, but I may need to again one day.

You are right to want to protect the streams. I don't think it's all that important on a CSN regional game since well the ratings and money involved don't warrant a full on blitz on streamers like jacking ESPN or the pro sports does.

But I'd bet the real FSN national games or FX games are of much higher value - so it would be good to get some practice in having discretion by the time those games are up.

And next year, with the p12 network, I would guess there would be more pressure to police streams with all the money out there. It sems that everyone who wants the p12 should be able to get the p12 net....We'll see. Morally, I see no problem with a stream for those who actually cannot get the games, which is true for a lot of cal games even in SoCal and definitely true out of CA. But at the same time, it's to be expected that the companies try to shut larger money drains down.

The link and p/w has been posted every game (fb and mbb) for almost a year now at CGB. No big deal.

FYI, I write to new users a standard request to keep the information to themselves with the hope that my link isn't posted in places where Bears are not the main readers.

Does anyone know the current likely status of TV for the Blue Hose (I figure no TV) and the game against the Dawgs? Getting Direct TV (finally) in anticipation of Hoops - hoping to see Cal some this year on my nice, newly installed 50 inch samsung HD beauty!
