I didn't see the stream of the game. How'd Maynard play? Thanks.

Uneven. Had some good throws on seams routes and crossing patterns, but also had a few misses to wide open receivers. The tightens dropped a couple of easy passes, or else his completion percentage would've been in the mid 60's.
On the other hand, he didn't have as many running lanes as he did in the first game. Either he's conscious about developing a pocket passing game or the opponents are doing a better job scouting and bottling up his lanes. Given Cal's physical superiority, it's probably the former.

Many have said, "If only ZM would cut down on his INTs." If he starts to get that into his head, he will become tentative. He is what he is - a gunslinger. You take the occasional pick with the good. He will get marginally better as his subconscious mind figures it out, but he is not going to be a 65% guy over the long haul. Let him play his game. I was skeptical, but am on board now. He's fun to watch with a couple dashes of heartbreak thrown in.

that's all well and good, but i expect this site to have a meltdown when he has his first 4 int game and we lose because of it. i like the kid, but he needs to make better decisions sometimes.
