For the record, I adopt Malcolm X's "by any means necessary" philosophy and see no problem with faking injuries, flopping, or any other legal tactics to frustrate the opponent. We play to win the game.

Maybe a mandatory sitting out of the game of 10 minutes should be employed for those who are "injured".

I don't agree with the faking of injuries, but I would hate to see it left up to the refs to determine whether or not an injury is real. Defenses should somehow be given enough time to make necessary substitutions. I know players are expected to be in good condition, but it is unsafe to have players out there that are gassed.

I like burritos' idea of making the "injured" player sit out a certain amount of snaps after the injury.

Sitting out one play seems fair. There are plenty of tweaks that a qu k walk or stretch address where it MIGHT be unsafe for the player to play one play.
