Under notices and GO BEARS!!!! (as I'm sure most of you know, but I'm new to the other sites), there is a drop down bar of all the other pac-12 schools.

Why is the website format different for a lot of the schools?

Also, I find it interesting how much better the content (even from negabears and sunshiners) is so much more interesting than the people on the others, wow.

The links need to be reviewed. Not all go to the primary forums that other schools use.

BearInsider is affiliated with ESPN. My understanding is that in the case of the other P12 schools that have a site affiliated with ESPN (e.g., USC), that site is linked; in cases of P12 schools that do not have an ESPN-affiliated site (e.g., UCLA, Stanford) a site linked to another service such as scout is linked.

When he was an undergrad, my dad heard Pauling speak at Cal. When I was an undergrad 25+ years later, I heard the old coot, too. He talked about some crystalline structure somethingorothergobbledygook (I was a PolSci major), but what I was impressed with was the logarithmic calculations he seemed to be doing in his head. When I told my dad about it, he said "Yeah, he memorized a bunch of them in the old slide rule days before computers, and he's used that as a tactic to impress young audiences ever since."
