The saddest and hardest thing I have ever had to deal with so far in my life.. One day we're having a few brews for new years, 2 days later he's gone forever (internal bleeding which eventually led to organ failure; his blood was too thin to stop the bleeding so the doctors never had a chance to find where it was coming from). My condolences CalBearS916Fan. His name was Jimmy Doran, one hell of a surfer and one hell of a man.

I'm sooo sorry for your loss to brother bear my condolences goes out to you and jimmy's family. hope your ok. thank you yea 1 minute your lolin and havin fun then your sheddin tears. thank you phantom fan thats true it only took us a couple months of hangin out to feel like long lost brothers then 8 years later this tradegy happens to him and the rest of us who cared about him

I'm sorry for your loss. I hope that you find many avenues to healing. I wasn't sure how I was going to endure the loss of my father, but when he died near the end of 2010, I found that I felt a continuing presence that was totally unexpected. Of course, I still wish I could talk to him in the flesh, but I feel him with me in a way that is really meaningful. It may sound airy-fairy, but before that I never had much faith in any realm besides this one, and so I encourage you to be open to something ongoing with him despite his passing.
