And a thought occurred to me earlier: iirc Tosh was DL coach for 4 years. That would mean any 5th year seniors this upcoming year would have been his first recruits. How bad this must sting those guys that their leader and mentor couldn't even f***in say goodbye..but he could call the best recruit on the west coast before he was even announced at UW.

He's going to tell kids that despite being a Cal bear he didn't feel appreciated by the school. ( which he wasn't) and an opportunity came that felt right. Not hard to convince an 18 year old that taking half a mil is a good idea.

If they somehow beat Oregon over the next five years, I won't be surprised if they hold a parade.

You'd have to be a grade-A moron to choose a school based upon their football team instead of their academics. I grew up in Oklahoma, but that didn't mean I was going to pick OU over Cal just because they have a better football team. Your football team may have a better record than ours, but in the end, our degree is from Cal while yours is from UW. Also, 0-12.

These kids evidently like Tosh, and he gets players drafted in the 1st round.
