Point out how the poaching is an indication that we have a great program, and that we'll be able to bring in top quality replacements. <br /><br />2. Compare the coaching departures to early entries like Marshawn, Desean, Aaron, Jahvid, Shane. Speak highly of the coaches who've left and show recruits how Cal supports players and coaches moving on when they're ready to advance their careers.<br /><br />3. Keep selling Cal as a program of integrity and the best place for recruits to develop academically and athletically.

I would personally push #3. Cal has so much to offer for whatever the recruits career goal may be. If the NFL is their ultimate goal, well you could almost put together a Super Bowl roster of former Cal players in the NFL (and those players were recruited prior to Tosh so something must have been done right.) If education is what they want well that is an easy sell. If coaching is what they want to get into simply point out how much cabbage a recent alum is now making. Ultimately it is a 60 year decision not a 4 year decision.
