Football is highly supported here. As far as ripping on the city of Seattle? Weather is better in Cal, no doubt. Seattle is a beautiful city. That is why so many Califonians move up here. I feel bad that we are raiding Cals Coaches, but changes need to be made. Our defense really, and still does, suck.

In terms of tradition, UW trails UCLA and USC historically, and in terms of actual recent history, UW trails Oregon by a long shot over the past 20 years, and is basically identical to Cal.

UW's "dominance" was a 10 year period where they went to what, 4 Rose Bowls? That was due to the Tyee Club, and we all know what happened after that.

Now, the Tyee Club seems to be taking over again, but this time, they are buying young recruiters to bring recruits to UW. If I'm the NCAA, I'm paying close attention. Oregon got an investigation, and possible sanctions, over Lyles, but Tosh Lupoi is connected to both Lyles and Otis Yelverton. Both schools paid for a garbage 'service' from Lyles, yet Yelverton and Lyles both made trips to Cal with recruits.

Lyles made a trip to Oregon, but it wasn't with Seastrunk. Sark is all-in, and UW need to know they just paid for a brand of recruiting that they were bashing as of two days ago.
