The biggest potential impact is not UW benefiting greatly, because I don't think it'll benefit them to the extent they seem to think it will, but the degree to which it could potentially hurt our program.

I'm mad that 1) we lost Traitor Lupaid and 2) the manner in which he left. Of course I knew he would seek greener pastures one day but I didn't think he'd leave a trail of dung in his wake.<br /><br />I don't care so much about Seesaw except 1) the timing and 2) our recruits. As a coach, it was still yet to be determined if he was doing a good job or bad job. I think UW overpaid and could've found someone better for that kind of coin.<br /><br />But, honestly, I think these hires will be a flash in the pan. It's a 3 year bet by Sark that I think will not end up as the pups hope. I have a feeling they have a 3 year leash and will only see marginally better results at best. Eventually the fans/donors will ask if they are paying too much for their staff (which they are) and the wheels will come off. Either Sark will have to clean house again or Sark, himself, will be adios. <br /><br />The chances that all this money translates into complete conference dominance under Sark is slim.

All UW is doing is putting pressure on themselves. Organizing a "Dream Crew" will give them the next two years tops to get themselves to a Rose Bowl before things come crashing down. They wont beat us,SC,Oregon, or LSU next year and i see them having a hard time with that fly happy offense in pullman. I do think Tosh might be able to pull 1 or 2more higher ranked recruits up there next offseason but thats about it. I know this has no effect on the top 4 recruits in Cali for 2013 on my wishlist as all of them still have Cal high on thier lists.
