It's 65 and 1065 in OC, and 61 & 1061 in LA. They just assigned those channels today.

You can figure out whether your cable service has assigned it yet here: http://www.pac-12.org/SPORTS/Pac12Networks/ChannelFinder.aspx

Wow, Calcoholic, I called in today and an ex Fresno State player found it to be 78/1078 HD on Cox for OC, and Big Ten Network 1318. Check both when available.

ps. Went on the Cox site, dialed in my ZIP and it gave me Cox Communications Los Angeles, when I am in OC. So be careful and let us communicate when it is sorted out.

Hmm. I called yesterday and they told me the channel hadn't been assigned yet. Then I double checked with the engine from the Pac-12 website and it also said it hadn't been assigned yet. Tried the engine again today and suddenly it spit out those channels. So that's what I based my post on. I put in zip codes for both OC (Aliso Veijo) and LA (Palos Verdes), and that's why I got the respective channels I listed.

I guess we could just wait for tomorrow and actually check out channel guides, but what would be the fun in that? LOL

Yup, time is on our side, so we can still LOL at this point. But I have overextended my welcome with prd from Laguna Niguel in the past. Just hope it all works out for all of us, wherever one lives.

When I tried the Pac12 channel finder for Cox in San Diego, I only got channel numbers for the PAC12 LA regional channel, none for the nationwide PAC12 network. Notice for the Bay area TV schedule in the header they show PAC12 - National and PAC12- Bay Area regional channels.
IF Cox in San Diego only broadcasts the LA regional channel, I will never see CAL games on the PAC12 channel, unless it's a game against USC/UCLA that doesn't merit the PAC12 Network (Nation-wide) channel. I may see even less games than before.

I checked the channel guide this morning and it still wasn't there. Apparently it doesn't launch until 6pm tonight. As of right now, there's no line space for 65 or 1065 - or any of the other possible channels mentioned above. I wonder if we'll have to power cycle our cable boxes before it shows up in the grid.

The Pac-12 LA channel will show identical programming to the national channel the vast majority of the time. The only exception is when there are conflicting live events, in which case priority will be given to the LA teams if they are involved.

Cal/Nevada and OSU/NichollsState, Which game would be shown on PAC12 LA? The PAC12 Network schedule just shows both as PAC12 Network, it should really list one as regional and the other as network.
It looks like I won't see the Sept 22nd USC/Cal game since the UCLA game is the same day and would be shown probably only on the LA region, while the Cal/SC game is shown on the PAC12 network. Looking at the PAC12 schedule, which shows many starts at 3AM, I assume to allow for schedule changes, the following Cal games could possibly not be seen in LA because an LA team might play at the same time. Sept 29th ASU (UCLA), Oct 13th WSU (USC/UCLA), Oct 20th Stanford (USC). Oct 27th (USC/UCLA), Nov 10th Oregon (USC), Nov 17th OSU (USC/UCLA).
Hopefully some of these conflicts can be resolved by ESPN/ABC and Fox broadcasting possibly competing games, but if the CAL/USC game doesn't merit ESPN/ABC/FOX broadcasting on Sept 22nd then UCLA/Oregon State won't be on the top tiers either. I assume there can be three Saturday PAC12 game slots, 1230pm, 4pm, and 730pm for the four to six PAC12 Saturday games each week. Do ESPN/ABC/Fox have to take three games each Saturday? If not I can see missing some key Cal games, starting with SC.
The PAC12 may have painted itself into a corner and it will take some creative scheduling/rescheduling to take that flying leap that straightens things out. The schedule is soft after Sept 15th ( no valid game times), when the Sept 22nd games are given starting times we will have an idea of how the PAC12 will resolve these schedule conflicts. Hopefully the PAC 12 schedule can be updated to show PAC12 network games and also PAC12 regional broadcasts. That simple change would help...

Cal/Nevada will be on all P12N channels except the Oregon regional.
See the Pac-12 LA schedule:

During the conference schedule, there won't be any time conflicts unless absolutely necessary, because they will be spreading games around to ESPN and Fox and can stagger the game times for the games on P12N. The conflicts happen during OOC weeks because we end up with more than 6 teams having home games on a Saturday. They especially are not going to create conflicts between teams in the same region such as USC and UCLA, because they aren't going to want to bump USC off of P12N LA. Cal-USC was chosen by P12N as the premier national game that week, as it is one of the weeks that P12N gets the first choice of games. Expect it to be on all 7 P12N channels.

I just called and they told me 78 and 1078(HD). I do, in fact, get channel 78 and am watching the Pac-12 network now, but I don't get the HD channel. They told me I have to have the Trio DVR & Trio package.

Trouble is I tried their Trio DVR a year ago and it is a piece of crap that is full of bugs, so I sent it back and told them to send me my old Motorola box back.

In OC it is on 78 with your regular service. To get HD you must pay $5.00 plus tax per month and have their "whole home service" installed. The install is $30 per TV which they waved for me. So it will be 1078 HD and 1318 Big 10 Network.

I'm in OC and have the whole home system (which as pointed out above, is buggy). The Pac 12 and big-10 channels - HD and SD - are up and working.

The PAC12 channel search listed the wrong channels for Cox San Diego South Bay. The correct channel is 314 for PAC12-LA.
I'm not finding the new HD channel with my HD box and extended service, but did get channel 314 non-HD. Normally if it's a channel that I don't pay for I get a message indicating that I need to upgrade, however for the HD channel it's not being recognized as a valid channel. Still I at least get a PAC12 regional channel now.
If you can't connect to a listed PAC12 Network channel, check with your provider, The channels listed by the PAC12 network site may be wrong as they were in my case.
