If you all have not done so, google some of the relevant language here, and see what you get. It seems to be pretty standard, and with that, this might not be new for us...

In the past, when I didn't have seats where I could stand when I wanted, I was always very courteous to those behind me, and stood or partially stood, just enough to see for myself (others in front of me had stood).

Those who truly feel that standing is part of the game should try their best to get seats where others will not be impacted; or at least sit in a section where this would be seemingly less problematic...

.. where by funny I mean awesome, about folks who SAT directly in front of us many years at CMS.

Let's just make up random names for them, umm, say Noel & Devon maybe?

Well, comes the ESP option, right out the gate, N&D choose the most expensive ones available, nosebleeds Top Row dead center. Asked 'em one day "are you suure you wanna be that high up"?

Turns out their reasoning was they wanted to be able to stand without worry about the folks behind 'em.. us. Yet all these years they'd never given word one sitting wasn't their bliss.. wow.

This is Berkeley! Home of civil disobedience! We should hold a mass stand-in, screaming on defense, wearing profane T-shirts and let them try to arrest the entire stadium!

Not exactly hard.......just lock the gates.
To paraphrase Ron Paul....those fences to keep people out, can be used just as easily to keep people in..........but at least there will be Top Dogs and portabella burgers.

They should probably focus on filling the stadium first.

^SOOO this.

First get butts in the seats before telling people to sit the entire game.

Good story there SiniCal.

For those who truly enjoy standing-up and making noise to impact the opposing team's O, being on the rim, that far away is not ideal though...

There are other seats, much closer to the action where one can stand without bothering others (maybe even on the bench too), have a backrest of sorts, with immediate ingress / egress and access to concessions and toilets. Oh, and no sun in the eyes (important to us). I guess that narrows down where we sit, lol..

I was waiting, just waiting for FS to show-up. I recall reading that you are in a row 26 also, but on the other side. To be clear for others, this does not pertain to row 26's on the east side, or ones without ADA platforms, to be more precise.

FS, I have a photo from my Bear Backer contact that shows the spacing between our benches and the wall behind as being about 3", so some decent space.

We're actually in Row 22; Row 26 wasn't available to us when we selected. We would have snagged it otherwise.

It's the ADA platform that's key here. It creates the vertical and horizontal space necessary to avoid blocking the view of others seated behind Row 26 occupants.

Good. It might result in a little more legroom, and help with strain on the back. One can hope.

Ah, my bad. I realized after I posted that I read it on a different site, but couldn't remember where...

I had bench backs in the budget, and wanted end of a row, but upon selection time, I only saw these available in the lower rows. Row 26 was also something we valued, a lot, maybe even more...

Never really thought about legroom. Yes, one can hope...

I have not sat in these seats yet (of course), but I think we'll really like them. First, any location has compromises. Sitting in the endzone, one can see the spatial separation from tackle to tackle or between the wideouts. This is not had when sitting along the sideline, but there one can see the separations involved from that perspective, the length of the field, like the separation between a streaking receiver and a db. The corner offers a nice blend of the two. Obviously, sitting up high can give one a vantage to see such things also, and that's why we see coaches sit in booths up high. With that, I wanted some elevation, and row 26, with the ADA platform behind, was a slam dunk first priority for us.

Talks about continuous standing. That doesn't stop occasional standing

Yup esp. when they gong the bells on third down. Wait, we have that now, right? Actually I wouldn't mind a GROWL on third downs.

Waving your blue, gold or white is also a must -- not enough do it.
