I think the first assumption to challenge is whether Bridford should be our number two and whether one of the other guys, Hinder or even Kline, deserves a chance to come in and show what they can do.

That's just sad.

Uh, no that is my point, that is the second assumption to challenge. First, you elevate those guys so they can get into a game and show what they can do because Bridgford has shown nothing and we want someone to come in and outplay Maynard, be better than Maynard. If they even look promising, THEN, you considered starting them over Maynard (and if they flat outplay him, you definitely do).

You guys act like Maynard had a horrible game and should be summarily benched. That is just not what happened today.

However, if Kline is really even just our second best QB at this point, redshirting him is a big mistake. He should be #2 and he should be groomed to be our starter as Rodergs was--next year in the very least, but this year at the best.

You forgot to mention the benching of Maynard that resulted in an immediate 14-0 deficit...for missing a tutoring session!?!

Maynard isn't a Pac-12 QB and is a SR that hasn't shown he has improved from last year. He wasn't the reason we lost, but he's part of the problem.

We'll most likely be 1-3 heading into the ASU game, if we lose that game, Hinder or Kline should be our QB the rest of the season.

How is it possible Hinder could be worse than Maynard and Bridgford?? Maynard can't hit a flare ten yards away...

It's possible. Post '06 JT, it's very possible.

He probably is . . . that's the problem. JT can't produce anyone better than him to run the offense.

Jeff Tedford is the Rowdy Roddy Piper of coaches. Just when you think you know the answers, he changes the question.
