you think we only recruit based on E11 qualifications? we scout our QBs. the simplest explanation is that they've regressed since coming to Cal. that part seems pretty certain.

Shouldn't KA and Rodgers be able to get open for some receptions in this game? Does Tedford have any plays that are designed to be a pass to the tight end as a primary option?

i'm feeling especially disparaging today. i was expecting the team to be executing like clockwork following the loss, and playing against a lower-caliber team like S. Utah. instead, we took a WHOLE QUARTER to warm up and get in-sync. this is a lack of discipline issue. straight up.

on the positive side, our WRs are blocking A LOT BETTER. kudos to Chandler?

sketchy, it is half empty. we gave a few thousand tickets to the CMS construction and renovation team too.... and of course, of the half sold ESP section, it's even emptier today. go figure.

Chandler has been an improvement over what's his face. Blocking from Freshmen Receivers back it up. Even last week, the receivers were blocking well.

so, can someone tell me how we're better utilizing our TEs post New England Patriots trip? or was that a backup plan in the case that all of our freshman WRs don't pan out.
