I can see why you're so high on our chances, given who we have beaten so far this year.

Well, let's just say I've not been real worried about how quickly the Pac 12 finishes their negotiations with DirecTV and AT&T Uverse. When we finally get around to changing our head coach, my hope will be restored. Until that time, we're just searching for teams that are at our level or worse so we can squeak out a few wins here and there.
If you can't see that that is the truth of our situation right now, then best of luck to you.

I have respect for the Furd, i hate them but i respect them.

That's nice. I've seen my shares of ups and downs too. Enough downs to know when a team needs a change. We're overdue at this point. I don't begrudge you your desire to show up and cheer, but it doesn't deserve a medal either. You choose to do what you want if it makes you happy. My choice is to find more productive things to do with my time instead of having to watch bad football.

I never bet online, but when I saw Furd was only -6.5, i went to some really sketchy offshore site and put down $100 on em. Hope my CC company doesn't get mad.

LOL Glad your money went to the caymans! Never bet on Stanfurd. You aren't a true Cal fan.

I know its not quite husky stadium, but still, UW fans are much more rabid than Cal fans, unfortunately. i don't think its going to be like playing at AT&T last year.

The only way I could bring myself to even watch this game was to put money on UW to win (+225).
I still don't believe furd is as good as people are thinking. they seem to have sc's number, plus the game was at home. lets see how the new QB does in his first real away game.
I know UW is satan, but if furd is able to beat a somewhat decent UW team, in what will be an extremely hostile environment, at night, then its going to mean very very bad news for Cal for this year and possibly the next few years. It would mean that furd is actually pretty legit, and its not just Luck and Harbuagh. that would be bad. really bad.
UW on the other hand, who cares if they win a few games. sark is going to sink that program eventually. furd is the much bigger threat in the long run.

I've been rooting for the Bears for almost 40 years and have seen my share of ups and downs. Doesn't stop me from cheering for my team. I don't understand you. Maybe you should root for $C? Might be a better fit for you.

Sadly you may be right. I still stand by Stanford's D, but tough to watch our QB and WR play. Tough to watch our coaching, too, come to think of it. 3rd and inches in the first half and we run our FB, when we've got Taylor itching to go? 4th and 4 at the end and we throw a jump ball to Toilolo agst. their best DB? Yikes. May not just be Berkeley that has coaching concerns. There may be less history to go on with Shaw -- not abandoning him yet -- but scary bad, if you ask me.
