One well played game doesn't mean Maynard is suddenly a "star."
He needs to not just play well next weekend but against Furd also. Though in reality it doesn't matter unless he can pull off at least 4 more wins this year with the rest of the team. He only needs to be good enough. Let's face it, he doesn't have a professional future unless it's in the Italian Football League.
As for Kline, it'd be foolish for Tedford to waste him this late in the year. Kyle Boller ring a bell? However we need to have a #2 ready, regardless of who, is the even that #1 goes down. Right now, I don't have confidence that our #2's are game ready.
So yeah...nice game Maynard. Good play calling coaches. I hope you all do very well the rest of the year. But no reason that we can't get the backups in during garbage time at the least or in "specific" situations.
