Of course the last 2 weeks were an anomaly. Duh!

We dominated bad teams, though we didn't look that great vs. Wazzou.

But the worst thing is, I actually psyched myself up all week to believe we had a decent chance of winning this game.

That's the worst part -- psyching oneself up.

Only to be letdown.

A big letdown.

I will stop psyching myself up.

I said it might play out like our last bowl game where Texas had such a dominant DL and that they'd win despite having a mediocre QB. They also shut down our run game too.

I thought they could compete. Instead they got embarrassed. Honestly I'm numb to the failings at this point. The Nevada game didn't surprise me. A toilet season was always coming.

....some people, not most. Most think JT has lost whatever mojo he had several years ago...only the strange stat guys and a handful of lost causes will see daylight.

Not likely that we'll defeat Utah at their place. Utah gave a good effort tonight against Oregon State in Corvalis. We'll lose to Utah by at least 14 points.

By now we all know what to expect when Cal plays against a very good defense.
